| Bemerkungen Fundort (Entry): | The locality data found in the fieldbook is not very precise, but from Rauh’s field diary the route could be reconstructed: Rauh started at Huancayo (Dept. Junín) in the morning of 1971-08-04 (correct date!, see entry comment), driving in the direction of Ayacucho (Dept. Ayacucho), taking deptl. road 113 [see WRHP MAP056; not available online]. At Pampas (Dept. Huancavelica) he took deptl. road HV513 / HV514 to Mantacra (Dept. Huancavelica), reaching the valley of Rio Mantaro and the national road 3 near the hydroelectric power station Mantaro, where he stayed for the night 1971-08-04 / 1971-08-05. It is most likely that he collected the Type of Tillandsia pampasenis at or near this road junction. | ||
