Peru (PE), Departamento Cajamarca, Provincia Contumazá, Distrito Contumazá, next inhabited place Chilete
Environement: «terrestrisch»
800 m.s.m.
Estimated precision of locality data: ±2 km
Location comment (Entry): On label of Holotype specimens HEID 607724, HEID 607725 & HEID 607726 the locality where the original material was collected is indicated as «Chilete–Templadera [...] 800 m». Rauh drove road PE-8 upstream Rio Jequetepeque, coming from Chiclayo (Lambayeque, Perú). The milestone «km 60», indicated in fliedbook with question mark, is, according to «Mapa Vial 06 Cajamarca», near Pampa Larga (Cajamarca, Perú) [-7.233716, -79.058568], at ca. 500 msm, which is 300 m lower than the elevation quoted in the fieldbook. In his field diary Rauh cited as type locality «An der Brücke des Jaquetequ [..] 40007 nach der Brücke {At the bridge ower Rio Jequetepeque [...] No. 40007 collected behind the bridge» [HEIDRAUHFDD078_015 & HEIDRAUHFDD078_016].
The prologue quotes as type locality: «prope villam Chilete, 800 m.s.m. [...] zwischen Chilete und Templadera, bei 800 m {near the village Chilete, 800 msm [...] between Chilete and Tembladera, at 800 m}».
There is only one bridge at an adequate elevation: Chilete Bridge. Coordinates from this point were stored in database. [CNS 2015-01-29]

Entry comment: The gathering date in the fieldbook, protologue and on the Holotype specimens («8.7.1976») is wrong. In Rauhs field diary the month of June initially had 31 days (!), but he corrected this mistake later. Unfortunately the mistake continued in the fieldbook, so that the date differs there in one day.
