| The description of the locality is not very clear. Dressler and Rauh took the new road from El Llano in the direction of Cartí in the Guna Yala province, but did not rech Cartí that day. The indicated elevation [page HEIDRAUHFDB057_007] is ca. 500 msm. On the road from El Llano to Cartí the only place with this altitude is around the nowadays check point between Panamá province and Guna Yala province. According to the details in the diary it is most likely that the gathering locality of Rauh 44683 etc. is in the Guna Yala province than in the Panamá province. [CNS 2017-03-02] | |
