Typification according to protologue	Holotypus: RAUH Nr. 40 579a (August 1976), in herb. bot. system. univers. heidelbergensi (HEID). [german version:] Holotypus: RAUH Nr. 40 579 (Aug. 76), im Herbarium des Instituts für Systematische Botanik der Universität Heidelberg (HEID).
Locus classicus according to protologue	Habitat: Bolivia; inter La Paz et Catanavia (Yungas), terrestris in sylva montium infera destructa. [german version:] Habitat: Bolivien, zwischen La Paz und Catanavia (Yungas), degradierter unterer Bergwald; terrestrisch wachsend bei 1200 m.
Comments	Holotype vouchers in Herbarium HEID with accession numbers 602182, 602163 and 602184 are the only ones indicated by Rauh's own hand as «Typus»! These accessions have original labels, putatively from collecting in the wild, with «Fosterella sp.» as name, later changed into «Fosterella caulescens». These three labels indicate «16.8.76» as date, like mentioned in fieldbook (HEIDRAUHFDB053_114), which is not quite correct, as Rauh travelled the Yungas one day later, according to his fielddiary. All other vouchers are indicated as Holotype by N.N., with gatheringdate «13.6.76», which does not correspond neither with fieldbook nor with fielddiary. Only the three vouchers by Rauh's own hand should be regarded as Holotypes. (Specimen in spiritu numbers 204662, 204663 & 204664 have not been checked yet.) [CNS 2012-08-02]
