Heimat und Verbreitung: Steinhänge bei Pocho, NO-Bolivien. | Comments | Rauh cited a wrong locus classicus and gathering date in the protologue. The living plant, from which the original material was taken ex cult., was collected 1976-08-24 (not July 1973) 8 km SE of Comarapa, Dept. Santa Cruz, Bolivia (not Pocho). The Holotype specimen was prepared in May 1981. A detailed discussion on locus classicus, gathering date and typification was published by Schröder, Sack & Koch (2015).
