Typus	HT: HEID Rauh 37955 [in alcohol: HEID 204814; exsiccata: HEID 700153]; IT: US
Typification according to protologue	Holotypus: RAUH Nr. 37955 (1. 8. 1975), in Herbario inst. bot. system. heidelbergensis (HEID). Planta etiam in eodem loco sub numero RAUH 38090 lecta est. [German version:] Holotypus: RAUH Nr. 37955 (1. 8. 1975), im Herb. Inst. Syst. Bot. Heidelberg (HEID). Die Pflanze wurde am gleichen Standort auch noch unter der Nummer RAUH 38090 gesammelt. Isotypus: U.S. National Herbarium, Washington.
Locus classicus according to protologue	Habitat: inter Limon et Indanza (Prov. Azuay), epiphytica in sylva montana destructa. [German version:] Habitat: zwischen Limon und Indanza (Prov. Azuay), epiphytisch, in degradiertem Bergwald.
Comments	The type locality is in Ecuador, Prov. Morona Santiago, Cantón Limón Indanza, ca. 2 km NE of Plan de Milagro, not in Prov. Azuay. See locality comment at Entry 19663. [CNS 2015-11-19]
