Locus classicus according to protologue	Habitat: in valle fluminis Marañon, 12 km supra Balsas in directione Leimabamba apud 1700 m s.m. in rupibus arenaceis. [German version:] Habitat: Marañon-Tal, 1700 m, 12 km oberhalb Balsas (Dptm. Cajamarca), in Richtung Leimabamba, an steilen Sandsteinfelsen.
