[german version:] Holotypus: RAUH & BARTHLOTT No. 35278 im Herbarium des Institutes für Systematische Botanik der Universtiät Heidelberg. Clonotypen finden sich im Bot. Garten der Univ. Heidelberg, der Sukkulentensammlung der Stadt Zürich und in einigen weiteren Sammlungen in Kultur.
Locus classicus according to protologue	Habitat epiphytica in sylvis Ceibae pentandrae in valle fluminis dicto ‹Rio Catamayo› (Aequtoria australis) in 1300 m altitudo.
