Locus classicus according to protologue	Habitat et distributio: Peruvia sptentrionalis supra Tarapoto (Dptm. San Martin) in abrupis terrae in sylvis montium apud 800–1000 m. s. m. [German version:] Heimat und Verbreitung: Oberhalb Tarapoto (NE-Peru, Dptm. San Martin), an Erdabrissen im Bergwald, 800 m.
