| Location comment (Entry): | Rauh indicates «Yurimaguas 1000m», added later with black ball pen, as locality. We know that he did not reach Yurimaguas (Dept. Loreto) that day, but returned to Tarapoto. On page HEIDRAUHFDB063_054 he documented the moment of collecting the new Pitcairnia, between the 1000 msm contour line and the tunnel at 1050 msm, which is the pass between Tarapoto (Dept. San Martín) and Yurimaguas. Coordinates from this point were taken as locus classicus. [CNS 2015-02-16] | ||
